Robert Tyler

MANAGER, TRANSMISSION ENGINEERING

Robert is a highly experienced professional with a strong engineering background and over 18 years of experience. He graduated from the University of South Florida with a BSIE, which he pursued while working full-time at Peoples Gas. Following this, he spent over a year as a Contract Engineer for Verizon, where he was involved in designing and installing the FIOS system in Tampa Bay. In 2008, Robert joined Tampa Electric as a Distribution Engineer and subsequently held various engineering roles. In July 2023, Robert joined Welty Energy as a Senior Transmission Engineer and quickly advanced to the position of Manager in December 2023. His extensive experience and expertise make him a valuable asset to the Welty Energy team.
